The cost of a luxury cruise can vary significantly depending on various factors such as the cruise line, destination, and time of year. However, for entry-level luxury cruising, prices typically start at around $400 per person per day, while at the highest end, prices can reach up to $2000 per person per day.

Cruise lines at the upper tier of the industry generally have the same dress code which is known as “Resort-style casual” which includes things such as jeans, shorts, t-shirts, and tennis shoes.

On some ships, in the evening (from 6pm onwards) the dress code is elevated to “Elegant Casual” which means Dinner dress for ladies includes a skirt, or slacks with a blouse or sweater, a pantsuit or dress; slacks and a collared shirt for gentlemen. Sport jackets are optional and ties are not required.

FORMAL NIGHTS

Contrary to popular myth high-end luxury cruises generally do not have formal nights. Black-tie events are more likely to be found on mid-level cruises. If in doubt check with us to find out the dress code for your specific cruise.
